New Student Orientation


Summer Orientation

June 9; June 16; June 23; July 14; or July 21
Our one-day orientations are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Freshman and Transfer Students entering Fall 2017
Cost of attendance* is: $60/freshman students, $50/transfer students, $25/guests.

Summer Orientation is a structured day-long program that offers new students and transfer students the opportunity to establish a link with faculty in their intended major, become familiar with the campus and the array of academic and campus life programs available and "take care of business" to prepare for move-in. The day begins at 8:00 a.m. with Check-In and a continental breakfast and ends at 3:00 p.m.

*Cost of attendance includes all orientation materials and programs, mementos, continental breakfast and lunch.

Can't make a regular orientation session?
We will hold a condensed orientation session on August 17 (move-in day).
Freshman and Transfer Students entering Fall 2017
Cost of attendance is: $15/person.

Online registration is closed. You can register on-site at 12:30pm.

Late Fall Orientation is a shortened version of the summer orientation sessions. Check-in will be held from 12:30pm-1:00pm in the Library Atrium, with the session wrapping up around 3pm. Like the summer sessions, students will have an opportunity to hear from faculty and staff, participate in a Q&A session with Orientation Leaders, and get their bobcat card. More information will be sent out to the email address listed on the registration form prior to the event.
